about us
Beaver Builders was established in early 2019 and we've been very eager to hit the ground running with acquiring new jobs and meeting the customers highest satisfaction. Being a newer company may seem like a downside but it motivates us as a company to do high quality work and have an excellent customer relationship so they refer us to their friends and family. We're committed to doing the job the right way and even if it requires a few more hours, it will leave the homeowner happy for years to come!
OUR TEAM
Owner + Operator
Kole simm
I grew up in Rockwood, just outside of Guelph, and went to Wilfrid Laurier for geography. I've worked outside my whole life helping my dad and grandfather with jobs around the house and cottage. I've worked in the construction industry for 7 years. I've always had an entrepreneur drive so I was motivated to work for myself.
Carpenter
matt scannell
Matt is a great asset to the building team. He always brings a great attitude and his humour to the jobsite.
Carpenter and Design
Tait wilman
Tait is a behind the scenes rock. Her tremendous work with illustrator and other design work has been crucial in establishing the branding. She has also been awesome person to bounce ideas off of as she's also in the construction industry.
STEPS TO ENJOYING YOUR NEW SPACE
1. Consultation
This would be an introductory meeting that would discuss what the customer wants the project to look like when its finished. Measurements would be taken their budget would be discussed. Depending on the size of the job, a quote would be given to the customer. For large jobs the quote would be emailed within a few days.
2. Preparing to begin work
This step is finalizing the customer's project, any drawings needed, budget and quotes. Materials are ordered and delivered to the jobsite. Any preparation at the jobsite like moving furniture, digging out shrubs, etc will be completed. A timeline for completion is given to the customer and work will commence.
3. Completing the job
This step is where the work gets done. There would be a tidy jobsite at the end of every day, especially if its a kitchen where the customer needs to prepare dinner and lunch for the next day. We vacuum and take all our tools with us after each work day. When the job is completed to my satisfaction I'd ask the customer if they're happy with the work and if they wanted anything touched up or added to finish off their project perfectly.
4. After the work is completed
This is the step where the project gets wrapped up. The customer pays for the work completed and thank you's are usually exchanged and I'm on my way. I encourage all customers who are happy with the work completed to pass along our name to friends and family, this business is word of mouth driven!
